Sadly I stopped putting out jack o'lanterns when the street I live on was rezoned commercial. It was eventually rezoned for both commercial and residentia;l but it seems that most of the condos that went up where houses used to be are filled with people who have dogs instead of trick or treaters. I used to love carving the pumpkin when I was a kid. Scooping out the brains, toasting the seeds. Good times.

No pumpkin carving for me. We never did as kids...we would buy pumpkins and paint faces on them, but that's it.
I did make a craft project a couple of years ago. Craft pumpkins. Cut out space for a mouth, and insert those plastic vampire teeth, paint red eyes. Vampire pumpkin decorating my desk at work.
