I am working on a trade for a Remington 700 PSS (police sniper system) in 308.
I have never done any long range shooting so I'm hoping it comes together. It is set up. Great optic (if very expensive means great, which seems to be the case with glass), bi pod, and a few other goodies. it's ready to run.
Should be a shooter once I learn the ins and outs of it. Plus I'll pick it up cheap since I'm on the right side of the trade. He want's a shotgun that I only picked up to take a part off of that runs about $500. I have the part, he gets the replacement, so his $1200 rifle is going to cost me around $500 if the deal goes through. Plus the part on my other shotgun drives it price to closer to $1900-$2000 range.
I've checked around and his price seems good, so if I hate it I should be able to make some off it. The rifle runs in the 7-800 range and the glass 5-600
