Yes. And the reason silver hurt was because of the 30 pieces of silver he betrayed Jesus for, and the only way to kill him was to hang him at dawn, just like when he was killed 2000 years before. Ugh.
I recall liking that twist, but I think it could have worked better if Judas was the father of all vampires, including Dracula. Merging them into separate characters seemed unnecessary.
Also, thinking of bad Draculas, I just realized I could have added Dominic Purcell (of Prison Break and John Doe) to the list. He played Dracula in Blade Trinity.
