I lost interest in Bond way back when Pierce Brosnan was denied the role because NBC refused to let him have time off from Remington Steele so he could take the job.

I thought he would have been a perfect Bond for that mid 1980s Era. Never cared much about Bond after that event. Although I do not know if my lack of interest is because of that or just incidental to that.

I like the newer Bond movies. It's a little Bourne'ish sometimes, but a nice change up from the never shaken, Bond's of the past.

Connery's Bond was smooth, confident and a bad ass. Moore's was almost a comic book character. Cheesy, and fun, but not as cool. Dalton's Bond, not around long enough to make a judgment. Bronsan's Bond, a throw back to Connery's with his own spin on it. Still a bad ass.

Craig's Bond, comes off as Bond before he has saved the world a thousand times. A still learning to be Bond, though the timeline in the movies, treat him as more of a relic.
