I've now become aware of the return of the Spider Woman's ass idiocy. Why is this all of a sudden making a comeback and didn't we get enough of this hilarious moronic complaining before? Pretty done with that whole block of ceaseless bitching.

Goddamn getting home was a clusterfuck tonight.

Cluster part I: When I got to the airport (which is an hour away from my dad's place) and was checking in, I realized I left my belt at his place. Not too big a deal, but it's the only one I've got, and money's tight, so I'll either have to buy another one, or wait for him to send it in the mail.

Cluster part II: Being on a cramped and crowded airplane always sucks, especially now that they don't give out free peanuts or pretzels.

Cluster Part III: When I got in to the Eugene Airport, I called the friend I made arrangements with to catch a ride home. Turns out he got mixed up and thought I was flying into Portland, and he was almost there. Even though it's not my fault, I still feel bad.

Cluster Part IV: My cab driver hit a cat that ran out into the middle of the road. I did my best to comfort her, but that shit is just jarring.

I'm home now though, so there's that.

Also, I arrive to an envelope from Luke that contained a prize I won for entering Sly Dante's final TR contest. I'd thought it was a PS3 game, turns out it's for PS4. On the plus side, I can sell it at the used game shop near the bus station and recoup cab and belt costs.

This is a Facebook group where you can post half naked anime girls who look like ten year olds but with enormous breasts. You can post links to butt plugs. We regularly read reviews of superhero porn Parodies. But not thinking comic book characters showing butts and boobs is capital W Wrong means I am a monster.

    Sigh.

Was this in reference to that infamous Spider-Woman cover by Manara, or is there a new offender on the block?

There was a post about how some website got a bunch of plus-size women/models and asked them to pose like comic book super heros of the female variety. I commented that I thought the first "pose" they were ridiculing seemed like it was supposed to suggest motion, not a pose, and that I didn't understand the kerfluffle.

Next thing I know I'm getting warned that failure to fall into lockstep with a person who was up-in-arms over the whole affair was reason to have my posts deleted. My initial reaction was to ask the moderator to remove me from the Illuminerdi group, but I let it go. However, if I catch another hint that only "correct" opinions are tolerated, I shall remove myself from that group.

Why is this thread hiding underneath the older one? Does it have insecurity issues?

I figure it's time for a new thread with Xmas being in the rearview mirror. I've also put up a new poll as part of a "New Year" theme.

2015's been a good year, and I look forward to seeing how it's replacement shapes up.
