The New Year Approaches.

I know I complain about her often and you guys may think I'm over-reacting or something, but this is the kind of stuff I deal with all the time.  This isn't a learning curve.

No, she's just dumb as toast.

As for me, I have taken off early and I am sitting in No Frills grill drinking a beer to,try to numb the pain in my ankle. Will be buying new shoes in a few.

I don't think New Girl works after a year. Lets call her Dumbassia from now on. Sounds like shes just there to draw a check and cares little about how she does it. I see that a lot in our company. Mainly from our son-in law CFO.

*usually* I find that this happens when my shoes are wearing out.  MY feet aren't correctly supported and things go sideways. But I bought new shoes last week and things are still killing me.

Anyway, I bought a different brand of shoes this time (Skechers with the microfoam support insoles) and I might have to ditch them and get new Dockers.  I'll decide today when I get to the mines.

Arkay-- in regards to what we talked about-- no news. I'm edgy with anticipation and I am afraid whatever happens I will be disappointed.

That sucks. I had Plantar Fasciitis and pushed it until I tore my Plantar tendon. I was in a boot for weeks. Once I was out I got some good insoles and had no trouble. Over Christmas I got new shoes, didn't put the insoles in, hit the tread mill routine again and sure enough, now my other foot has the same problem. I'm buying new insoles today and have been splinting my foot at night. I don't want to tear this one.

You should get one of those support straps on it.

I know I have told this on the old site so you may have heard it. "The Fillion" was scheduled to be at Dallas Con. I bought tickets, photo op, the works. I was excited to see him, because I was a huge Firefly fan. A few days before the con he cancels saying he has an eye infection. Then posts pic of him at a get together (I think it was Mexico but I could be wrong. It was sunny and beachy) He's laughing it up wearing sun glasses. a easy cover for an eye infection.

I think he made it all up to go someplace fun instead of meeting nerds like me. I had to trade of my pic for Adam Baldwin. It was still fun because Colin Ferguson was there and he was hilarious. Still "The Fillion" stood me up.
I want to go to his Q&A panel and ask him about it, just to put him on the spot and probably get thrown out, by more forgiving nerds than me.

Margaritas on the beach served by hot chicks in bikinis really do wonders for an eye infection.

I'll look into when and where it is being held. I'd hate to have it come and go in early February, say and we totally miss it because we were expecting it to be in May.
