Another lady brought two tired and very young children with her. The five year old was spinning the stool that the toddler was sitting on. Toddler says "faster!" and big sis obliges until toddler sis falls off and bumps her head. Mom had no interest in their activity until the one started to scream.
Co-manager was sent to work in another store until about 3:00. Arrives back just in time to park her butt and assist with exactly none of the Monday tasks managers have to do.
I think I earned a beer.

Wish I could have made it. It seems all my hard work this weekend was for nothing.
I had everything staged to load up this morning. Took the first load to my daughters apartment at 9am the manager informs us it hasn't been cleaned. So here we are 5 hours later with the same load on the truck and they just told me it will be another hour before it's ready

I was looking into buying some server space and setting up a better option, with a like system, gifs, chat and so on, but haven't pulled the trigger. It's a couple hundred a year to run and not sure if that would be worth doing for a hangout that gets little traffic.

Good morning peoples! What a great weekend so far, yesterday I went to a museum, with a friend I hadn't seen for over a year, to see an exhibition that was on its final day. Amazing paintings. I will be heading back, soon, to buy the exhibition catalog; A rather large and damn heavy hard cover book. Too big to be walking downtown with it in my bag. After that we went to our usual pub. Much Guinness was had. We made plans to go see the next exhibit, Rodin, which opened that day and so was rather packed. Then heading home I got caught in the rain, which always seems to happen when we get together. Oh well, still a good day.
