The Aria is great looking but too expensive for me. We went to dinner at one of the places there and went down to play in the casino. $15 min bets on Roulette, $25 on Blackjack. I was there with one of Rick Perry's high roller buddies, so he had plenty to play with. He dropped nearly 3K on dinner for 8.
I dropped a hundred and watch he and his daughter drop a grand or so a piece. Then I excused myself and went back to low roller casinos.

November 10 through 13.  I told them I'd rather fly from Love field this time since the last two times we flew from DFW  the American Airlines flight were seriously delayed and it kind of ruined part of the trip.  Getting there at 9:30, an hour and a half late for the welcome dinner was not fun.

Nope.  I first heard the song when I was in fifth grade.  My music teacher,  an older guy who was artistic,  joined a record club and once a month he had us sit quiet and he played the singles the club would send him.

No.  The song is just depressing as fuck with its "everything you do amounts to nothing"  lyrics and the violins and the howly wind sounds.

It makes me cry when I hear it and then I want to hear it again and then iI want tocrawl into bed.

We work for the state, so we have some strict rules for termination.  But, if he was documenting all this, as he is supposed to be, and speaking with her, and all that, it wouldn't be a problem.  The problem is, he doesn't want to do it.  He doesn't want to write a report for her HR file.  He doesn't want to have a 6-month review with her because he doesn't want to prepare it.  That's a big problem with her now, is that he let so much go because he didn't want to deal with it.  He's a salaried position, who doesn't even work 40 hours a week.  At least twice a week he goes out to "check" on the wheat or the cotton, etc, and is gone 3 hours.  And now, it's too late, she's been "trained" to do whatever.  I can complain about terrible she is, but that's partly because our supervisor has done nothing to make her be any better.
My personal belief is, he has retirement on his horizon and is looking for the minimal amount of work he can get away with until whenever that day comes.

It's simpler than that.  We don't want to deal with documentations and write ups. It's an unpleasant conversation at best,  an angry confrontation at worst and we don't like it.  On top of that writing up a person of a different gender makes a boss worry that he will be accused of treating women differently than men.

I've had a girl threaten to accuse me of sexual harassment just because iI dared to ask her to get off the cashwrap area and go outto her department and straighten up merchandise.

Another had her parents call to bully me,  claiming I'd said something inappropriate.  They asked me if I could PROVE  that I  hadn't said some insult.   My answer was of course iIcan't prove such a thing. Did they want me to find someone who never heard me not say something?

I get his point, he doesn't trust her to work, but what am I gonna do?  I have no authority over her.  How about stepping up as her boss and informing her that expects certain things to be done and there will be consequences if they aren't?

Maybe she is special.
I'd hire you.  I'd bet you could learn the names of the other employees in 7 months (she still hasn't learned them)

I have no doubt she has a learning problem.  And an attention disorder.  These are not problems, except when you do nothing to help yourself.

She may not know she has a learning disability.  Nearsighted people often have no idea their vision is messed up until they get glasses and suddenly realize the world is not built blurry.
