I'm feeling inspirationless and I need an idea for something to draw.
How about me in a hospital bed thinking how hot my doctors are?

i should be fine. the issue is going to be cost. i don't know what bills i may have that insurance won't cover. plus buying a new car. so i may not be able to afford to come.
I was just making n X-men joke. Totally understandable if you can't. I would be willing to pitch in for you to be there.

We may have to wheel her around at the con. Think we can talk her into shaving her head and we can go as the X-men
Well I been a little worried about that. I didn't want to mention it because I didn't want her to think my concern was just about how her accident affected my plans.
Arky you think you'll be in condition to walk around the con in June?

This is slightly more than "fractured arm and broke leg in a car wreck"
I'm so glad you are mending. If you are having muscle cramps you might try a calcium/magnesium/zinc supplement. My BP pills occasionally cause me leg cramps in the night and my doctor recommended a supplement to prevent it.
Also eat bananas (if you can stand those disgusting things. Personally I have to dip them in chocolate pudding or something to deal with them.)

Starting to get leg cramps and muscle spasms as the numbness wears off, from the damage the bones did while floating around in there. So not sleeping well, since that keeps me awake. But other than that, i feel pretty good. Next week i go back, get a different cast for the hand, maybe let my fingers out, maybe get a different brace for the knee cap, might be easier to get up. Much excitement.
Just glad you are okay. I probably missed the story on the FB side. What happened?
car accident. i imagine my car is totaled, waiting to hear. broke my right femur in 2 places, got a rod implanted, so that's healed beyond the staples. my kneecap has a hairline frac. full weight bearing, but can't bend knee, which makes it hard to get up. hairline frac in left hand, just under knuckle of pointer finger. no weight on hand, but can put weight on arm. my walker has a bracket thing, i lay my forearm on it, strap it down, and lean on forearm to move leg.

Going on a four day backpacking trip for a friends birthday this Tuesday, then that Friday I have family coming in town for the weekend, then a week off, then lady friend from Boise is coming into town for the week for my birthday. We're going to Botcon and the Gorge and maybe a local show, other than that I'll just be showing her the sights around Louisville. Exciting way to begin the Spring.
