I roll up a towel. Put lotion on towel. Seesaw the towel across my back. It's not exactly pleasant, the scratching on the burned skin, but it's better than nothing.

Okay house cleaning is done. Let me know what you think of the new look. I'm open to suggestions. There are lots of templates we can choose for colors and different layouts. Still learning here so bear with me.

We just got an email from Admin Services, that due to the recent Supreme Court ruling, same-sex spouses will be covered by our health benefits beginning July 1. I am pleased. However, I am not pleased to hear what I think I will soon be hearing in the hallways at work.

Me, I'm the one who leaves a mess for my roommate to clean up. And since I have no roommate, I come along later and get all pissed at myself for being a slob.
The other negative for me about living alone is I find myself talking to myself more and more. The other day I narrated my entire trip to the grocery section at Wal-Mart. Interspersed with my own hauntingly beautiful rendition of TMBG's "Older"
Walking down the aisles of Wal-Mart singing "you're older than you've ever been and now you're even older... and now you're even older..."
Most people either did not take notice or moved quietly away from the crazy person.
As for sunburn- I try not to go out in the sun. I would apply bactine for you if you asked though.
I chose to live in a house. I have the yard to maintain. I'd rather dig up a 2 foot tall careless weed than mow it over and have it spread it's seeds everywhere. It's taken me 4 years to get the yard to be grass instead of almost completely careless weeds (and other weeds). I have to stay vigilant.
